Nag Tibba Trek, also known as the Serpent Peak, is the highest peak in Uttarakhand’s lesser Himalayas at 3,022 meters. It’s an ideal weekend trek for beginners and children, with no risk of altitude sickness. The trek offers breathtaking views of Bandarpoonch, Gangotri, and Kedarnath Peaks, as well as the Doon Valley and Changbang Peak, while passing through dense oak forests. Starting from Pantwari village, 56 km from Mussoorie and 90 km from Dehradun, the 16 km trail is easy and includes a visit to a temple dedicated to the Serpent God. It’s best enjoyed in spring and winter.

Itinerary
Day 1 :Dehradun to Pantwari village and trek to Base Camp
Pick up from Prince Chowk near Dehradun Railway Station at 6:00 AM for a 90 km drive to Pantwari village, passing through Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. Breakfast will be at roadside inns, with costs covered individually. Upon arrival in Pantwari, enjoy lunch before starting a 4 km gradual ascent to the campsite. Evening snacks and refreshments will be served, followed by dinner at the campsite.
Day 2 : Base camp to Nag Tibba and back to Pantwari to Dehradun
Begin the early excursion to Nag Tibba top at 5 a.m. with a 4 km medium-grade ascent. Carry 1 liter of water each, as the trail lacks water sources. Reach the summit and enjoy the view before descending back to Pantwari village via Camp 1. Have lunch at Pantwari, then embark on the 90 km drive back to Dehradun, with an expected arrival time of 9 p.m.
