The Dayara Bugyal Trek, nestled in the Gangotri range of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, offers trekkers a stunning journey through one of India’s largest and highest meadows, located at an altitude of 3,408 meters. Spanning 28 km, the trek offers panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Mt. Bandarpoonch, Jaonli, Srikanth, and the Gangotri group. Starting from Raithal, the 8 km hike is easy to moderate, passing through dense forests and opening up to vast grasslands. Accessible year-round, the trek offers lush greenery from April to October and snow-covered trails from November to March, making it perfect for trekkers and skiing enthusiasts. The summit provides a serene 360-degree view of the mighty Himalayas, offering an unforgettable experience with minimal effort.

Itinerary
Day 1 :Dehradun to Natin | 185 Km Drive, 7-9 hour
Trekkers will be picked up at 7:00 a.m. from Prince Chowk, near Dehradun Railway Station, for a scenic 185 km drive to Natin Village via Uttarkashi, alongside the Bhagirathi River. Meals during the journey can be purchased at roadside inns. Upon arrival, enjoy a briefing session with the trek leader, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at a homestay in Natin.
Day 2 : Trek from Natin to Gui Campsite | Trek Distance: 4 km | Trek Duration: 5 hours | Altitude Gain: 7,552 ft to 9,630 ft
After breakfast, begin a 4 km easy ascent from Natin to Gui Campsite, passing through forested patches. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch and rest. Later, take an acclimatization walk in the nearby area, followed by evening snacks and refreshments. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.
Day 3 : Trek from Gui Campsite to Dayara Bugyal | Trek Distance: 7 km | Trek Duration: 10-11 hours | Altitude Gain: 9630 ft to 11,950 ft
After breakfast, trek to Dayara Bugyal, following a moderate ascent through oak and rhododendron forests with stretches of level trails. Rest and enjoy a packed lunch at the Dayara viewpoint before hiking back to Gui Campsite. Upon arrival, unwind with evening refreshments, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.
Day 4 : Trek from Gui Campsite to Natin then Travel to Dehradun | 4 Km Trek 4-5 hours/185 Km Drive 7-8 hours
After breakfast, descend 4 km back to Natin Village along the same trail. From Natin, embark on a 185 km drive to Dehradun, with an expected arrival around 9:30 PM, allowing you to plan onward travel accordingly.
